Volunteers

Volunteers are vital to the ongoing care of our valued patients. As a non-profit organisation, we rely on community support to deliver our services and many volunteers generously donate their time to assist us in the care we provide.

By volunteering you provide much-needed assistance to a person in need and at the same time, receive the personal reward of brightening another person’s day.

Volunteering Tasks

  • Become involved in the activities of patients to enhance their quality of life
  • Complement the professional nursing staff by providing non-nursing services
  • Share yourself, your skills and talents to help another person
  • Make new friends and become part of a committed health service

Volunteer Requirements

All volunteers must have a National Police Check before applying for a volunteer position. If your application is successful, we will reimburse the cost of the check to you.

Volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be able to provide evidence.
